Barnet and Brent Drugs Gang of 5 jailed for 25 years

Five men who were part of a drug dealing gang in the Barnet and Brent areas have been jailed for a combined total of more than 25 years for drug offences.



They were each sentenced after they were convicted of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, crack cocaine and heroin, and aC lass B drugs, cannabis.


Officers executed a search warrant at an address in Barnet. On entry, the five men were found inside the one bedroom property.


 Ahmed and Azimi were seen throwing several wraps of crack cocaine and heroin over the balcony as police forced entry to the property.

 A large amount of packages of crack cocaine and heroin were subsequently found on the ground.

Several loose wraps of crack cocaine, heroin and mobile phone were found in the kitchen and wraps of crack cocaine and heroin were found in the middle of the living room. Electronic scales, a razor blade and a zip lock bag of herbal cannabis was found on the coffee table.

All five men were arrested at the address and taken into police custody and were jailed for a combined total of more than 25 years for drug offences at Harrow Crown Court.


Shaban Hotak, 23, resident of Roman Road, E6, was sentenced to five years and six months' imprisonment.

Ahmad Azimi, 22, resident of Islip Close, Maidstone, was sentenced to five years and six months' imprisonment.

Salman Ahmed, 25, resident of Tudor Court, North Wembley, was sentenced to five years and six months’ imprisonment.

Hussein Mohamed Ismail, 21, resident of Brenthurst Road, NW10 was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment.

Samim Islami, 21, resident of Merritt Gardens, Chessington, was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment.
