Drug Dealer, Amjid Khan, 40, Ordered To Repay More Than £50,000

Amjid Khan, 40, of Greaves Street, Bradford, was jailed in August this year after pleading guilty to charges of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs at Bradford Crown Court. He has been ordered to pay up more than £50,000 following a confiscation hearing.





Officers seize more than £55,000 in cash and cocaine and heroin believed to have a street value of more than £500,000 at addresses in Lindley Road and Greaves Street in April 2017.


He was sentence to 7 years and 6 months and at Bradford Crown Court last Friday (16 November) was ordered by Judge Burn to pay a total of £52,480, to be paid within 30 days or serve 9 more months in prison and the order will still need to be repaid.


Khan’s co-defendants Iyas Khan and Aqib Mehmood, who were both jailed for ten years after they were found guilty of possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine and possession of criminal property.

Detective Sergeant Karen Milner, of the Bradford District Proceeds of Crime Team said:

“This result sends out a message to all those who believe they can benefit financially from a criminal lifestyle.
