Girl, 18, arrested in relation to the fatal stabbing of Sharif Ali, 26, in East London

A woman, 18, was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of assisting an offender, she remains in custody at a north London police station.

detectives continue to search for two male suspects, one  man in his 20s, who is about 5ft 10in, of Mediterranean appearance with a stocky build, olive skin and short, dark hair.

Second a white man, about 6ft and heavily built, with fair-ginger hair and a fluffy beard.



Zakaria Bukar Sharif Ali, 26, was killed on Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, in east London just before 6.30am on Saturday November 24. He had been at the Rolling Stock bar, before he was fatally attacked while trying to intervene in a fight.

Zakaria Abukar Sharif-Ali was acting as 'peacemaker' between two men who were rowing outside a nightclub in Shoreditch, east London, when he was killed.


‘After leaving the Rolling Stock bar, he tried to intervene in an altercation taking place outside. He was attempting to calm the incident and was stabbed as a result.’


He was taken to a central London hospital in a critical condition where he died a few hours later.
