Liyakat Sidat, 47, his wife and daughter died in a in crash in Alderley Edge, UK

Liyakat Sidat, 47, his wife Salma Sidat, 41, and their daughter Hajra Sidat, 14 all from the Old Trafford area of Greater Manchester died in a road crash in At on the A34 Melrose Way in Alderley Edge.







A second daughter aged, 19, is said to be in critical condition at hospital.



Family was coming back from Hazrat Moulana Salim Dhorat Saheb DB's majlis in Leicester.



Liyakat Sidat was the madressa principal at Masjid Bilal based on Bury Old Road, Manchester. He also had family in Blackburn.

A police statement read, the collision involved a car and a minibus att 12.04am on Sunday 4 November and emergency services were called to a serious collision on the A34 Melrose Way in Alderley Edge.

Two people, a man aged 47 and a 14-year-old girl, died at the scene and a third, a woman aged 41, died at hospital. They were all travelling in the car.

A girl aged 9 and a 19-year-old woman traveling in another car are currently in hospital.

The funeral arrangements for the family have also been announced. They will be held on Wednesday 7 November at 11am at Southern Cemetery, Barlow Moor Road, Manchester.

"The family would like the media to respect their privacy and to be left to grieve in peace."
