Mehtab Mehrban, 33, jailed for 2.5 years for firearm offences in High Wycombe

Mehtab Mehrban, aged 33 of Thorne Road, Lane End in High Wycombe, pleaded guilty on 16 October to two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and pleaded guilty to a count of racially aggravated harassment, putting another in fear of violence at Aylesbury Crown Court.





Mehrban, threatened two different victims, a man in his twenties and a man in his thirties, with an imitation firearm in Simmons Way, Lane End on 6 July 2018 and 20 July 2018.



On numerous occasions, the victim in his thirties, who was threatened by Mehrban was also racially harassed by him between 6 July and 20 July this year.


Neither victim suffered any injuries during the incidents.



He was charged on the 21 July this year following three offences.


Investigating officer, Detective Constable Alexander Trevivian of High Wycombe Force CID, said: “Mehtab Mehrban, caused fear and intimidation to his two victims, who have bravely come forward and reported these offences.



“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the victims and their families for their support.



“Thames Valley Police take incidents of this nature very seriously and will thoroughly investigate reports.”
