Tension between the two sides of the family began when the women’s grandma told Lairab, she would not go to the wedding of a sister of Aroosa and Sidra.
Afterwards both sides of women took the war on social media and started trolling each other.
Aroosa posted pictures of Lairab and Lairab's mother, wearing a crop top on social media, showing the other side of them.
It was then Lairab also responded and posted a picture of Aroosa in her underwear.
Aroosa along with her sister Sidra plotted to take a revenge from their cousin Lairab.
Plan was Aroosa will attack Lairab, while Sidra took a scissors to cut of her clothes and hired another teenager cousin to film and take a photo of Lairab in underwear.
On Monday December 4, when Lairab left work, at 11.20pm, Aroosa jumped on her, punching her to her head and face and dragging her to the ground by her hood.
But the attack was interrupted before Sidra became involved, Lairab suffered a fractured nose and had to have surgery for her injuries.
Aroosa was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm to Lairab and Sidra was found guilty of possession of scissors.
Aroosa for jailed for 2 years and 3 months while Sidra was given a 12 month community order with 10 days rehabilitation activity requirement.
Their teenager cousin who recruited to film the attack was released without any charge.
