Anti-Corruption Summons Bahria Town Tycoon Malik Riaz in Land 'Forgery' Case

The anti-corruption establishment on Tuesday  summons Bahria Town head  chairman Malik Riaz in a forgery case of land measuring 641 kanals.



 Complainant Sajid Jahangir said, he along with all owners submitted an application to the office of local assistant collector for the division and identification of the land against Rana Buland Akhtar, who also owned part in the land.



But Rana Buland Akhtar at the behest of Malik Riaz and with the connivance of revenue officials prepared bogus Iqrar Namas, power of attorney and other documents in his (Akhtar’s) name. Later transferred land to Bahria Town.



Anti-corruption establishment is now probing the matter.



Malik Riaz is facing cases against Bahria Town Karachi as well and no media is highlighting his cases.



6 cases against Malik Riaz are under trial in Supreme court, Bahria Town Karachi Case, Takhat Bari Case, Murree Golf City Case, Plot Files Transfer Case, Water Usage Case, his son in law involved in fake accounts case.



Review Petitions of Bahria Town Case are Dismissed Today by Supreme Court for Takhat Bari, Rawalpindi and Islamadabad Project and Murree Golf Club Case.
