Czech model charged for smuggling heroin, Claims, Came to Pakistan for research on Islam

Czech model Tereza Hluskova, who was arrested for trying to smuggle nine kilogrammes of heroin, said that she had come to Pakistan to conduct research on Islam.



The 21-year-old model was taken into custody from the Allama Iqbal International Airport in January when she attempted to smuggle 9kg heroin to UAE. Drugs worth Rs150 million were recovered from her luggage.



The woman had managed to pass through two security checks when the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) and Customs officials took her in custody after finding the contraband. In April, the foreigner was indicted for smuggling heroin.



The foreign model had earlier confessed to smuggling heroin to the United Arab Emirates but now, she claimed that the purpose of his visit to do research on the religion, reported local media.

The foreign model has learned not only Pakistani Culture but has also adopted the Pakistani culture as she wears traditional clothes and carries a shawl too and took U Turn from her previous statement as well.

In her latest, she also denied smuggling the drugs from the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, adding that the officials arrested her for no reasons.
