7 People Killed, after a clash between children during cricket match in Abbottabad

At least seven people were killed during a clash on Saturday at Havelian’s Rajoya police check post in Abbottabad, KPK.



The deceased, four belonging to one group, have been identified as Rashid Khan, Sohrab Khan, Ashfaq Khan, and Usman; while the three deceased from the rival group have been identified as Mukhtiar Shah, Anwar Shah, and Shoukat Shah.



Clash started during a cricket match in the Ghari Phulgran area, a village in Havelian tehsil.


Mukhtiar Shah, Anwar Shah both sons of Mehmood Shah, and Shoukat Shah went to the police check post in Rajoyya to register a complaint. While they were leaving, the other group fired at them from the gate of the check post, killing three people on spot and four people died in hospital.

As a result of firing a young man Rashid from opposite rival group also died.



Moreover, an injured man Saleem was taken to Ayub Teaching Hospital in critical condition while bodies of the deceased were shifted to Havelian and District Headquarters Hospital in Abbottabad.



An FIR has been registered at the Havelian police station against 15 people. The police took three people into custody for investigations. A heavy contingent of police is present in the area due to tension following the clash.
