Ali Mohammed,19, from London, Jailed for 5 years for supplying drugs in Abingdon

Ali Mohammed, aged 19, of Woodmans Mews, London, has been sentenced to four years’ and 11 months’ in prison after he pleaded guilty to drug supply offences in Abingdon.





Ali pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A and one count of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (heroin) in a hearing at Oxford Crown Court.



Police raided at a property on Tuesday 20 March this year, in The Vineyard, Abingdon, and police found wraps of class A drugs were located, along with phones and cash.





Ali Mohammed was present at the property along with 2 other men named Danielle Mitchell, aged 33, of Lake Street, Oxford and Matthew Gill, aged 31, of Vineyard, Abingdon.



Ali Mohammed pleaded guilty, and was jailed, while Mitchell and Gill were given suspended prison sentences.

Mitchell was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment, suspended for 18 months and given a community order, while Gill was sentenced to 20 months’ imprisonment, suspended for 18 months and also given a community order.

“Mohammed has been given a significant custodial sentence after pleading guilty to both counts.
