Explanation Towards the Information Regarding the NADRA Card (NICOP) Abolished for Overseas

Pak Govt Removes NADRA ID Card (NICOP) Requirement for Overseas, Traveling to Pakistan

The government of Pakistan has decided to abolish the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) for facilitating the Pakistani expatriates at maximum level, said spokesperson of Ministry of Overseas Pakistani (MOP) here Tuesday.

Faraz Younis, posted a video on facebook page  NADRA Advice Bureau, (link and video at bottom) Birmingham and have explained it further.

If you have a Nadra card even expired you may enter Pakistan.

If one doesn’t have a card you may use Pakistani passport even if it expired.

If none of the above one May use their parents Pakistani passport and obtain a VISA at no cost. FREE OF CHARGE and this is from immediate effect.

Couple of things to understand it better:

If you have NADRA card that is expired, you can enter the country with that Nadra Card that is expired, you don't need to renew it.

If you don't have a Nadra card, then if your parents have a Pakistani Passport, with that Pakistani passport you are allowed to have visa which is free of cost.

If you have you own Pakistani passport you can travel with that Pakistani Passport and you will be granted visa on Arrival. (You can also obtain visa from Gerry here in UK)

There is no need to pay visa fee or Nadra renewal fee.

Question: If  we don’t have a nadra card or a Pakistani passport only a valid British passport ???

Question: If I don't have my parents passport.

Question: If we had a Pakistani passport and now it’s expired can u still travel

ANS: you can travel on expired passport but have to have valid British if traveling from UK
