Dr. Aroosha Noreen, 24, Died Mysteriously at Jinnah hospital's Hostel in Lahore

 A young lady doctor was found dead in the hostel of Jinnah Hospital Lahore in her room on late Thursday night.

Aroosha Noreen, 24, from Gujrat, who worked as a doctor at the gynaecology ward of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.



She was found dead under suspicious circumstances at the girl’s hostel of the Jinnah Hospital late Thursday night.



After receiving the information about the incident, police and forensic lab team reached the spot, gathered evidence and shifted her body to a morgue.


According to SP Model Town Ali Wasim, investigations are underway and police are looking into the case from different angles.



Dr Urooj, the deputy medical superintendent, has revealed that an injection was found next to the deceased’s body.

A spokesperson of the provincial health ministry has claimed that the death appears to be an act of suicide.

The cause of death has not been identified yet, family of the victim refused to initiate any legal action. Police and hospital authorities said that they would hand over the victim’s body to the family as soon as they get permission from the judicial magistrate.
