Mum who Killed her 3 Years Old Son Released From prison 4 years into her 11-year sentence

Rosdeep Adekoya, 38, who beat the three-year-old son of Mikaeel Kular to death in January 2014 at their Edinburgh home, is believed to be working in a local shop near Stirling after released From prison 4 years into her 11-year sentence.

She served less than five years into an 11-year jail sentence for beating son Mikaeel Kular, three, to death and stuffing the little boy’s body in a suitcase in Kirkcaldy in 2014.

She is thought to have been working in a local shop during her freedom under a scheme at Cornton Vale prison in Stirling.

Adekoya beat the three-year-old to death over four days in January 2014 after he was sick following a family meal at Nando’s.

Adekoya killed Mikaeel in January 2014 after a night out with friends at a restaurant.

She thought he was disobeying her and had eaten too much.

When he was sick she beat him repeatedly at home in Edinburgh over three days, causing the defenceless toddler terrible injuries.

She hid his remains in a suitcase behind her sister’s house in Kirkcaldy and told police he had vanished from the family home in Edinburgh.

A source said: “She’s going about with not a care in the world and the public she’s dealing with haven’t a clue who she is.

“The relatives of this wee boy will be outraged to know that she has this kind of freedom after serving less than half of her sentence.”

When asked about Rosdeep’s release the Scottish Prison Service have declined to comment on individual prisoners.
