Nawaz Sharif Says "I Could Neither Smile Nor Cry Openly"

Nawaz Sharif appeared outside Islamabad’s accountability court on Tuesday,  The former premier was asked as to why he had been silent.



Nawaz told reporters “What can we say about smiling, we can’t even cry if we want to.”



Nawaz said that it has become harder for him and his family to cry, let alone smile.



Nawaz Sharif is facing several cases against him, he is facing Pakpattan shrine land case in which Nawaz is accused of illegally transferring 8,000 kanal of Auqaf’s land to Dewan Ghulam Qutab as Punjab CM in 1985.





He is also facing Al Azizia Steel Mills case along side  Flagship investment case.



On other side the government will be referring four cases to NAB regarding the Sharif family’s misuse of power and misuse of public funds, including one involving Maryam Nawaz.



Another case involves Maryam’s use of the prime minister’s official plane. Her trips cost the national exchequer Rs30 million. Another refers to former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif’s use of the same plane.




Nawaz Sharif and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, along with prominent journalist for Dawn newspaper Cyril Almeida, also facing Treason Case Linked to Mumbai Terror Attack.
