Tahira was shot dead while going to a beauty parlour, by an unknown guy on bike on Saturday was going to a beauty parlor with her sister Shehnaz when she came under attack.
She was critically injured in the incident and taken to Lahore General Hospital where she expired. Police said they have confiscated a mobile of the injured and started the investigation.
Police shifted Tahira’s body to morgue for autopsy and registered a case against unidentified persons on the complaint of her brother.
Police also taken her mobile phone into custody and obtained her phone records. The last two calls she received were from a young man named Mustafa Jatt who lived in the same neighbourhood. When the police conducted a raid to take him into custody, he fled.
In another incident a 35-year-old woman was shot dead after she resisted a robbery in Sanda area of Lahore, a local media outlet reported on Saturday.
The woman, identified as Nasreen Bibi, was alone at her house at the time of the incident.
The two dacoits stole valuables from the house and escaped the scene.
The woman was taken to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
