British Man Aakash Habib, 23, Arrested for Smuggling 25 Sweaters, Soaked in 24 KG Heroin at Islamabad

The ANF foiled a very unique drug smuggling bid at the Islamabad airport on Friday. A British Pakistani National was arrested while trying to smuggling Heroin.

He had Soaked about 25 sweaters in Heroin and used the tactic to smuggle drugs in a unique way.



Mohammad Aakash Habib, a 23-year-old, had soaked 25 sweaters in 24kg of heroin and was attempting to smuggle them out of Pakistan into United Kingdom.

He was stopped before he could board a flight to Manchester in the UK and was taken to the ANF cell after being arrested.



A case is registered against him and investigation is started. In past week a British national from Dadyal was duped to smuggle heroin. He was going back to United Kingdom when some from him extended family asked him to take a parcel with him.

In last minutes when he was packing his luggage he become specious and left the parcel went to airport.

Later it was found the parcel had drugs hidden in them.

Last month Two women travelling to Madina were caught smuggling heroin at the Islamabad airport. The Taxila police also arrested three narcotic dealers.

The Anti-Narcotics Force at the Islamabad Airport caught two women trying to smuggle narcotics to Madina, Saudi Arabia. The women, identified as Shamim Bibi and Asma Riasat, each swallowed 40 capsules loaded with heroin.



The women were travelling on a private airline and going for Umrah. The ANF arrested them both
