Jehangir Khan, 28, Killed his Fiancee Zenab Khan, 21, after She Confronted his New Girlfriend

Zenab Khan, 21, got engaged with Jehangir Khan, 28, back in 2015. Soon after, their engagement became talk of the town, as Jehangir Khan a good looking man was known as 'bad boy' and Zenab Khan a pretty girl fell in love with him and got engaged.

Zenab was aware of her fiancé’s on and off illicit relationship with other women, but soon afterwards, Zenab Khan, discovered that Jehangir Khan had another girl friend in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand whom he pays regular visits.

She decided to confront his new girlfriend and to expose Jehangir’s affair. She went to her house and told the woman and her family about the illicit relation and that Jehangir is cheating on both.

They woman and her family did not like scene created by Zenab, when Jehangir Khan came to knew about it, he got also angry as well.


Jahangir khan along with other accomplices, including his father Tahir Khan, Danish khan and servant Nisar carried on a plan to murder Zenab.

Zenab Khan was abducted and murdered at a farm house owned by Jehangir Khan on November 1, 2018 and buried her inside the sand near the banks of the river.


Police got to him by matching the girl’s call details after her family filed a case of abduction on November 14.

Police had recovered her body on November 26 after Jahangir had revealed the entire murder sequence during police investigation along with tools used in murder.

The incident led to a furore in Rampur as several student groups, backed by political parties, and staged widespread protests bringing the city to a halt for days.

Police is searching for other associates who are on run.
