Incident happed in Mora Khoo near Upper Jhelum Canal in Kharai Sharif, Mirpur where a young boy named Husnain jumped into canal water to took his life.
Some people who saw him jumping into cold water also jumped in water and saved the life of young boy.
Afzalpur police and media was informed as well, when boy was asked about the reasons of committing suicide, young boy named Husnain resident of Dina told, 'some bad boys in the area try to goom and seduce him because of his beauty'.
"They approach me every time they see me and try to seduce and force me to take drugs", He added.
He told, he is tired of them for bringing shame and humiliating me in the area and wanted to get rid of them by committing suicide.
Police has started the investigation of the case.
Child grooming is regularly used to lure minors into various illicit stuff, usually gangs groom neighbourhood victims.
On street grooming is common in Mirpur, Offenders establish a relationship with children before exploiting them.
In village area mostly the children are groomed by their neighbors and relatives who have access to their homes as well.
Parents need to keep and eye on the activities of their children in the streets.
